N-Eupex (NPX) clutches

Description

NPX clutches are specially designed versions of claw clutches. A complete clutch consists of two hubs of different designs and a set of rubber inserts. In the case of NPX clutches, due to the location of the rubber inserts, two different half hubs must be used in each case. One half contains the nails, and the other half provides a bed for the rubber insert.

The type 1 brain is the part of the brain used to accommodate the insert. The type 4 brain is the part of the brain that contains nails. The type 2 brain is the part of the brain that contains nails, but without an external brain rim. It should only be used in conjunction with the Type 3 brain. The type 3 brain is the brain flange capable of accommodating the type 2 claw part. To be used only in conjunction with Type 2. Type 0 represents the deposit set. The insert set consists of 6 sets of specially shaped and hardness inserts made of pressed rubber.

NPX 'A' = One brain 1, one gantry insert, one brain 2 and one brain 3.

NPX 'B' = One brain 1, one set insert, and one 4 brain unit. NPX B is the more common use.
