GE series Insert bearings (YEL, UEL; EX)
Description
In each case, a Y-bearing is located in the bearing units, or it is factory-assembled with a bearing housing. The GE type Y-bearing is the most common version of Y-bearings. Its outer shell is spherical, which enables self-aligning movement in the bearing housing. Its axle size is indicated by the last two digits of the article number. (In the same way as the other bearing markings.)
The GE series Y-bearing can be installed in any bearing housing whose three-digit number is the same as the three-digit number of the bearing. For example: P207 can be assembled with GE35.
The shaft fixing of GE type bearings is done with an eccentric collar lock.
